When using this set you produce the tongue with the two cutters and to produce the groove you just take off one of the cutters and place another bearing on either side of the single cutter for full square and balanced guidance to complete the tongue & groove joint. Use it to machine flat panel doors and cabinet panels, to create tongue and groove wainscoting, or just for edge joining long boards or cabinet components.
