The Xtorque Chamfering bits can be used just to break the edge or produce a full decorative cut. By fitting a smaller bearing to this bit you can produce a step on the bottom and lower your bit into the job and produce a step on the top. The very large chamfering bits are used on the four corners of larger posts. This chamfer router bit delivers chamfer edges in 45?cut. Each of these chamfer bits creates a clean chamfer edge on any wood work and can be used to produce elaborate or simple profiles depending on your project needs. Each router bit is ideal for cutting hardwoods, softwoods, plywoods and even composition materials. You can also use these bits with either a hand held router or a table mounted router.
