The DXA4183 is a 12 volt 80 amp Denso-style alternator with a 6 groove CLUTCH (OAP) pulley and twin leg mounting. The overrunning alternator pulley reduces belt vibration and extends belt life on engines with high torsional vibration.

Important: This unit is fitted with a CLUTCH (OAP — Overrunning Alternator Pulley) which decouples the alternator from the belt drive during engine deceleration. This is correct OEM specification for engines designed with this feature — do NOT replace with a solid pulley as it can damage the belt, tensioner, or alternator on incompatible engines.

Always confirm voltage, output, mounting, pulley, and connector compatibility against the original unit before fitment.
