The OEX DXA4144HO is a 12V 220A Denso style high-output alternator engineered to upgrade the original 150A unit on Toyota Landcruiser VDJ79R and VDJ200R 4.5L 1VD-FTV applications. Includes battery cable and fuse for the upgrade. Fitted with a semi-sealed brush box to minimise debris entry. Designed for charging lead-acid batteries; lithium battery charging requires a DC-DC charger.

Important: If the original alternator fuse cannot be removed, do not connect the original B+ cable lug to the alternator. Insulate the existing lug (original cable lug) properly using dual-wall heat shrink to prevent a short circuit. This high-output alternator is designed to charge lead-acid batteries — to charge lithium batteries, charging must be done through a DC-DC charger. When installing, you will be required to upgrade the alternator-to-battery cable to compensate for the extra current; upgrade cable and fuse are included.

Professional installation is recommended. Always confirm voltage, amperage, pulley configuration, mounting, and regulator function against your original unit before fitment.
