The 12V Max 5Ah lithium-ion battery (BL1050B) is the highest output CXT battery in a compact and lightweight design. The BL1050B features multi-contact slide type terminals to ensure stable contact with tools even under extreme vibration. The battery also has a fuel gauge with push button to show the amount of charge remaining. The BL1050B includes a cooling system to enhance battery life. When combined with the optional DC10SB charger, the charger fans force air into the battery to cool the cells, thus maintaining overall battery health and reducing charging time. Additionally, there is electronic protection built into the BL1050B to protect the battery from over discharge, high temperature, and overload current. Please note the BL1050B is only compatible with certain tools in the 12V Max CXT range.
